Yard Machines 159cc Powermore Engine Bag and Mulch Push Lawnmower

This Yard Machines push lawnmower is powered by a 159cc Powermore engine. The deck is stamped in a symmetrical circle with a completely curved surface (no flat areas) to create a strong vacuum for grass to circulate freely. Free flowing grass resists clogging; mulches better, and discharges easier. The S-blade works in conjunction with the new deck to direct the grass inside the upper dome of the deck where the vacuum holds the grass in the deck long enough to cut finer clippings. The blade has cutting ability on both the front and the back side to mulch grass finer. The airflow and finer clippings improve bagging as well. The new wide mouth bag allows the clipping to flow and empty evenly. The new dual lever, front and back height adjusters makes changing the cutting height easy and quick. The new protective bumper has a pass-through gap that allows grass to remain standing upright as it enters the deck for a more even cut. 2 Year limited warranty.

Machine made with cheap parts,
May 18, 2013
By Calbear
from Vancouver, BC
"I have this machine for three years now. The first six months, it was fine, then the linkage spring broke after a year, then the diaphragm broke the second year and the linkage spring broke again this year.
I am not going to spend any money on this machine, and will be junking it soon. This is the third lawn mower I have and the worst one so far.

Waste of money,
August 18, 2012
By BernieT

"Sure this mower's cheap, but for good reason. I had a lot of trouble starting it right off the bat; then all seemed good for maybe 3 mows. The next time I go to start it was next to impossible, and died after a second or so. Replaced the spark plug etc just to realize it was a carburetor issue. The next problem is the manual isn't much good for anything beyond replacing the oil and the air filter, so I had to fork out for a shop to fix it.
At my time of purchase there were just one or two negative reviews on Home Depot's site, but I found ratings for Yard Machines mowers on the web to be fairly positive. I can only wish I'd been more skeptical. Now to see how long it lasts before it's out of commission again, I won't be putting any more money into it."

worth the price,
June 22, 2012

"I had the same problem. After pulling on it for half an hour it finally started but ran fine after it started. The next time I went to start it it wouldn't start so I left it out in the sun for about 20 minutes for the motor to warm up. It starts on the first pull every time that I do this. I am hoping that after the break in period when I put a lighter oil in, (0W-30), I won't have to let it sit. The break-in oil seems fairly thick to me. Other than that I don't think that you will find a mower with these options for less, so it is worth the price."

Junk,
May 31, 2011
By Formula

"This lawn mower is not worth its weight in you know what. I bought it last fall and after about 100 pulls it finally started, and then I put it away in my garage. The first try to use it this spring and it doesn't start at all. absolute junk. The spark plug is gapped fine and it is full of gasoline and oil. My guess is the coil is faulty, great workmanship and quality control. Briggs and Stratton has definitely gone down hill. Don't waste your money on this mower,or any other Briggs and Stratton mower, you will be sorry... just look at all the negative reviews online. I wish I did."
