"I love this gun, i have taken on the task of developing my basement, and when i got to the finishing part, painting was taking way to much time. I grabbed one of these from the local HD, and in no time i was going through cans of paint. Yes it dose drip, and it can get clogged quickly with a thicker product, like a primer. The slowest thing about this product was cleaning up, a whole 20min. To get coats of paint on the walls in a time frame, it's worth $160.00 and it has helped with time and sanity."

"I have a cedar sided house that required staining in a big way. After seeing numberous comercials on this airless sprayer I decided to buy it hoping that it would save me some time.
I read many reviews on the Wagner sprayers on various web sites, and most were bad comments. However, the persons who wrote those reviews had the cheaper models of the Wagner, so I decided to spend the extra money and purchase their top of the line model. Big mistake!
Ok, to be fair the sprayer, when working does save a TON of time. However, the nozzle continously clogs even with stain that is thinned beyond the manufacturer's recommendation. Many times I had to stop spraying, climb down the ladder and take the sprayer apart to clean the nozzle. Then reassemble and climb back up the ladder to get perhaps a minute of spraying before the nozzle clogged again. Sometimes it would clear on it's own, other times I would have to stick the nose of the sprayer into a bucket of water or disassemble the gun to clear the clog. On top of all this their is a huge amount of over spray even on low air settings; so a mask, goggles, and painter's suit is a must! Also be prepared for a large amount of drips from the gun and a high consumption of paint product.
This product became so frustrating that I actually threw the gun on the ground and grabbed a paint brush and finished the house that way. If I could have returned the gun to Home Depot I would have, but it is mine for life now. Will I use it in five years when the house is due to be stained again? No way! A roller and brush will take more time, but will give a better finish, less mess, and use less product."
