"When I decided to re-do my basement , I had a nail gun shooting 1" 1/4 nails, not so good when you need to go through one even two 2x4's. I went to home depot looking for a nail gun that would do the job i needed done and save me time. Decided to go with the Stanley Bostitch and to this day i only have good things to say about it , let me tell you if you nail a wall with this gun it will take a lot of effort taking that wall apart. The Gun is very very strong with a low kickback to it. It is also very safe and nails cannot be shot unless you apply a good amount of pressure to the gun. Loads a lot of nails so you don't always have to refill it. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase and have and will continue to recommend this product to friends and family. I used a very small compressor with the gun and for that mater on some occasions the nails did not completely penetrate the wood. If using a small compressor I would recommend at least waiting for the air tank to be full before starting, If the tank is filling all you will get is nails that you will have to hammer in by hand which is not an easy task since these nails are meant to go in by force and hammering them only bends them and breaks the head but does not bring down the rating of the gun itself."
