"I saw Elaine's review on this roof rake,sounded good.
This roof rake is awesome.
I used it everywhere I could.It worked well for pushing the snow off the decks&steps too.
This roof rake has 3 extensions poles,you can use 1,2 or all 3,for what you need to use it for.These are light poles in weight and do not bend while pushing or pulling snow.The plastic shovel holds a good amount of snow.and easy to use.No back strain.
I feel this is a well made roof shovel.
If you needed the poles longer you could use a window washing pole and put your plastic shovel piece on this pole.Home Depot sells these extension poles.They work great.Then you have a pole for any length you need.
I also agree with leveltwo on making a home made roof rake, I can imagine a home made one made you would be lucky if you could move it:)))

"Purchased this item to remove snow from my roof, it works great. The only issue with this item is that I wish the company would include four extensions pieces instead of three, an extension sell for over $20, more than half what it cost to purchase the complete rake."
