GREAT BANG FOR YOU BUCK, January 16, 2010
By sicko from winnipeg,mb (read all my reviews) (read all my reviews)

"this is a great kit with power to spare.i was blown away by how easy it was to drill into cement with the hammer drill setting.my only complaint about this kit is that the 1.5 amp batteries drain quickly while using the hammer drill setting but the quick charge time takes care of that.GREAT PERFORMANCE for a great price."

Best Christmas Gift!, January 16, 2010
By Bobbie (read all my reviews) (read all my reviews)

"I gave this combo kit to my husband for Christmas and he loves it. His favourite thing about them is how much lighter they are then any of his other drills. They are consistently powerful and the charges last for a long time (plenty for a home handyman). There is plenty of torque to handle any job. He has only used each one a few times (so far) but just raves about them. The light has proved to be a useful feature (no need for a flashlight). I would definitely recommend this to a friend, it is definitely worth the investment and has the best value for the money. I am looking forward to the spring/summer so we can see what they can really do!"

Exellent Product, July 10, 2009
By Briann from Richmond B.C. (read all my reviews) (read all my reviews)

"This has got to be the best in its class. Makes the other Brands look bad. I would suggest getting the 3Ah battery set if you need to do big jobs but these 1.5 Ah batteries last about 5 times as long as a ni-cad battery so if you dont need it this is better becasue they are expensive batteries."

Best I Have Used, April 22, 2009
By MaintenanceWorker from Halifax, Nova Scotia (read all my reviews) (read all my reviews)

"Working in maintenance I have had the opportunity to use all different brands. I bought this kit brought it to work and used it for a weekend side by side with my bosses popular and much more expensive "yellow" kit. I would use my kit then use the bosses "yellow" to do the same job. My Makita's worked just as well as the boss's "yellow", but my kit was lighter therefore no wrist fatigue, much easier on the wallet, and the "yellow" did not have hammer drill capability so I had to use my kit to finish the job. You cannot argue this kit, its light, fast charging, and has torque to spare. Other professional contractors on site were impressed with it as well and couldn't get over its weight and how nicely it fit into the hand. and with a quick change of setting I smoked some holes into some cinder block like a hot knife though butter. I highly recommend this kit to anyone from the handy homeowner to professional tradesman"
